Cooper Anderson is Blaine's older brother, who made his first and possibly only appearance in Big Brother. He is played by Matt Bomer. Dylan Sprayberry is a child actor who plays a younger version of him. Cooper is the star of a free credit rating commercial, giving him the authority to offer the New Directions some acting lessons. According to EW, Cooper's tips include: "The key to a dramatic scene is pointing,” and “The secret to great acting is ignoring whatever the other actor is doing."
Cooper is the "face" of the "fastest growing international credit rating website" as put by Kurt, and as such has attained a fairly high level of fame. Cooper thinks that he is a really talented actor, but really is totally misguided in most of what he says. Although Cooper is really competitive, and very critical of Blaine, he does show compassion towards his little brother, and reveals that the reason he is so hard on Blaine is because he is so talented.
